Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Hare Foods Ltd. This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This includes training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Main Responsibilities- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage;
- Evaluate and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards;
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional manner;
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repair schedules, sales figures, and waste management;
- Prepare and submit reports on operational performance;
- Establish work schedules for staff members and supervise their activities;
- Assign tasks to sales workers as needed;
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages;
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees;
- Organize and maintain inventory, including ordering supplies and managing storage space;
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training as necessary;
- A minimum of 7 months of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry;
- Excellent oral communication skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and suppliers;
- A strong ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- A keen eye for detail to maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness;
- Experience in providing awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, refugees, youth, and Indigenous people;
- A valid license or certification related to the field (if required);
- A background check may be required upon hire;
- A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications;
