Licensed Technologist, Nuclear Medicine Specialist

Job Summary
The Licensed Technologist, Nuclear Medicine will work under the clinical manager's supervision to perform diagnostic examinations of organ physiology using radioactive substances to enable the doctor to make a diagnosis. They will use techniques to produce images that help establish a diagnosis in the case of radiodiagnosis and nuclear medicine.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic examinations of organ physiology using radioactive substances
- Use techniques to produce images that help establish a diagnosis
- Work under the clinical manager's supervision
- Respect safety standards and radiation protection measures
Requirements
- Hold a diploma in nuclear medicine technology
- Be an active member of the Ontario Technologists in Radiation Medicine (OTRMO)
- Be an active member of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
- Hold a valid certification in cardiorespiratory resuscitation
- Have at least six months of experience as a licensed technologist in a hospital setting
- Be proficient in both official languages (French and English) at an intermediate level
