Job Title: Director of Cardiac Imaging

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Cardiac Imaging to lead our team at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine.

About the Role

The Director of Cardiac Imaging will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cardiac imaging program, including the management of our state-of-the-art PET cameras, on-site cyclotron, and fully equipped radiochemistry laboratory.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear cardiology and experience in leading multidisciplinary teams. They will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality imaging for patient care and cutting-edge research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of physicians, imaging scientists, nurses, and technologists
  • Oversee the daily operations of the cardiac imaging program
  • Manage the PET cameras, on-site cyclotron, and radiochemistry laboratory
  • Ensure the highest quality imaging for patient care and research
  • Develop and implement new research initiatives and collaborations
Requirements
  • FRCPC certification in Cardiology (or equivalent)
  • Level 3 fellowship training in Nuclear Cardiology
  • Member of the Canadian Medical Protective Association (or eligible to join)
  • Eligible to practice medicine in Ontario
