Chief of the Canadian National PET Centre

The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa, in partnership with The Ottawa Hospital, is on the lookout for a highly qualified and experienced Chief for the Canadian National PET Centre. The successful candidate will spearhead a multidisciplinary team to uphold excellence in patient services and pioneering research endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, imaging specialists, nursing staff, and technologists
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services for both patient care and research initiatives
  • Obtain funding for research projects that lead to significant scholarly publications
  • Implement research discoveries into clinical practice protocols

Qualifications:

  • FRCPC certification in Cardiology (or equivalent qualifications)
  • Completion of Level 3 fellowship training in Nuclear Cardiology
  • Eligibility to practice medicine in Ontario
  • Proven history of conducting high-impact research
