Job Title: Child and Youth Worker

Blue Sky Family Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Worker to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to children and youth in our group homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and address the needs of clients, ensuring they receive the necessary support and services.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote the well-being and development of clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention services, as needed.
  • Supervise and support clients in daily activities, promoting independence and self-esteem.
  • Liaise with external agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a relevant field.
  • Experience working with children and youth, an asset.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Criminal record check, Child Abuse Registry check, and Child welfare check.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
