Job Title: Child and Youth Worker

Blue Sky Family Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Worker to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting vulnerable youth and families. As a Child and Youth Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized support and services to clients in a group home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' needs and develop personalized service plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention services
  • Supervise activities and implement behavior management programs
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers
  • Assist clients with special needs and accompany them to appointments
Requirements
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check, Child Abuse Registry check, and Child welfare check
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Judgment and ability to work under pressure
