Job Title: Child and Youth Worker

Blue Sky Family Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Worker to join our team. As a Child and Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and development of children and youth in our group home setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and address the needs of clients, ensuring they receive the necessary support and services.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in times of need.
  • Collaborate with other service providers and agencies to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Supervise and support clients in daily activities, promoting independence and self-esteem.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., social work, child and youth care).
  • Experience working with children and youth in a group home setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • First Aid Certificate and other relevant certifications.
