Job Title: Child and Youth Worker

Blue Sky Family Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Worker to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual to provide support and guidance to children and youth in our group home setting. The successful candidate will have a strong background in child and youth care, with a focus on providing a safe and nurturing environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to children and youth in our group home setting
  • Develop and implement behavior management programs to promote positive behavior and well-being
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for our clients
  • Assist clients with special needs and provide accompaniment to appointments and social outings
  • Work collaboratively with our team to provide a safe and supportive environment for our clients
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field
  • Experience working with children and youth in a group home setting
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check, Child Abuse Registry check, and Child welfare check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
