Job Title: Program Director, Inclusive Youth Services

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Program Director to lead our inclusive youth programs at CNIB Lake Joe. As a key member of our team, you will oversee daily operations, program functions, and staff supervision to ensure a safe and inclusive experience for all participants.

**Estimated Salary:** $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description:Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations and program functions of CNIB Lake Joe
  • Supervise staff, including recruitment, hiring, orientation, and training
  • Ensure safety standards and procedures are followed
  • Manage performance and provide coaching
  • Enhance staff program planning and delivery skills
  • Recognize individual and team accomplishments
  • Provide an inclusive camp experience reflecting CNIB's IDEA principles
  • Develop weekly staff and volunteer schedules to meet participants' needs
  • Prepare program plans and supplies, organize daily activities and special events
Requirements:
  • College degree or diploma with background in Education, Youth Worker, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a leadership role with experience in delivering overnight camp or community programs
  • Knowledge and experience in leading the operations of a recreation program
  • Previous experience within an Ontario Camps Association (OCA) accredited camp an asset
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Good relationship/team building and networking skills with a variety of stakeholders
  • Decision making skills; self-directed
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven time management, planning, coordinating, and organization skills
