Wood is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to lead the Minerals business development efforts. As a core member of an international team, the successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with Wood's Minerals client base and winning new consulting, study, and project EP/EPCM work.
This role will be based in Toronto and may require domestic and international travel to support customer, opportunity, and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth in the Minerals sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, potential customers, and industry professionals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Minerals industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business development initiatives.
- Provide market intelligence and insights to support business development efforts.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in a relevant engineering, finance, or business discipline.
- 7-10 years of relevant business development experience in the Minerals industry.
- Demonstrated network of enduring business relationships.
- Broad knowledge of Minerals industry technologies, work processes, environments, and local customs.
- Excellent communication, writing, presentation, people, and negotiating skills.
