Job Title: Calibration Engineer

At BRP, we're seeking a skilled Calibration Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our powertrain group, you'll play a crucial role in the development and optimization of our engines and transmissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the calibration of 4-cycle engines and transmissions, ensuring optimal performance, fuel efficiency, and reduced emissions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engine control strategies, leveraging your expertise in mechatronics and automation.
  • Design and execute optimization trials using chassis dynamometers, tracks, and engine dynamometers to improve engine function and robustness.
  • Diagnose system failure modes and develop calibration methods to reduce development time and increase engine reliability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or engineer's diploma in mechanical engineering, physics, science, thermodynamics, mechatronics, automation, or robotics.
  • Relevant experience in engine development or mechatronic systems.
  • Knowledge of engine control strategies and awareness of new technologies in the field of engines and vehicles.
  • Excellent communication skills in French.
