Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Calibration Engineer to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our powertrain group, you will be responsible for the development and calibration of our 4-cycle engine and transmission projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engine injection system adjustments to optimize emissions, fuel efficiency, and performance.
  • Collaborate with the development of powertrain group control software to ensure seamless integration.
  • Conduct optimization trials using chassis dynamometers, tracks, and engine dynamometers to refine engine performance.
  • Analyze system failure modes and determine calibration methods to reduce development time and increase engine function robustness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or engineer's diploma in mechanical engineering, physics, science, thermodynamics, mechatronics, automation, or robotics.
  • Relevant experience in internal combustion engine development or mechatronic systems.
  • Knowledge of engine control strategies and awareness of new technologies in the field of engines and vehicles.
  • Excellent communication skills in French.
