About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Calibration Engineer to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our powertrain group, you will be responsible for the development and calibration of our 4-cycle engine and transmission projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engine calibration strategies to optimize performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test engine control software.
  • Conduct optimization trials using chassis dynamometers, tracks, and engine dynamometers to ensure optimal engine performance.
  • Analyze system failure modes and develop calibration methods to reduce development time and increase engine function robustness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or engineer's diploma in mechanical engineering, physics, science, thermodynamics, mechatronics, automation, or robotics.
  • Relevant experience in engine development and calibration, preferably in the automotive or aerospace industry.
  • Strong knowledge of engine control strategies, including emissions reduction, performance optimization, and reliability enhancement.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
