Adecco Canada is seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices and be able to support various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This role is crucial in promoting a positive workplace culture and ensuring that our HR initiatives align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with company objectives and legal requirements.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related issues, including performance management and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct employee training sessions and workshops to promote professional development.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws.
  • Support the performance appraisal process and provide insights for employee development.
  • Collaborate with management to address employee engagement and retention strategies.
  • Assist with benefits administration and employee wellness programs.
Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
