Job Title: Human Resources Generalist
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Pathways to Independence. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expertise and support in various HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, and attendance awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Orientation: Implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to management on employee and union/management relations issues.
- Attendance Awareness: Maintain attendance awareness processes, policies, and procedures, and conduct attendance awareness meetings.
- Ability Management: Support managers in their efforts to assist employees in returning to work following a medical absence or workplace injury.
Requirements:
- Education: Post-secondary diploma/degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of related Human Resources experience, with a focus on attendance awareness, managing SAW/RTW activities, employee relations, and recruitment.
- Skills: Superior written and verbal communication skills, ability to present a positive professional presence, and excellent computer skills.
