Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team to accomplish daily and weekly tasks and objectives. They will champion a safe workplace culture by prioritizing safety training and accident readiness, ensuring all equipment is operated safely and efficiently.

Cultivating a positive work environment where team members feel valued and motivated is crucial in this role. The Strategic Operations Manager will conduct daily analysis to optimize staffing levels and workflow efficiency, upholding proper work protocols to maintain consistency and quality standards.

To succeed in this position, you will need to ensure the team meets or exceeds performance metrics, including volume, productivity, and KPIs. You will also be responsible for documenting user errors in the system to address and prevent future occurrences, collaborating with the Manager to safeguard inventory integrity within the warehouse.

Driving continuous improvement across all aspects of distribution operations is essential in this role. You will document and report damages in accordance with company filing policies, assist in implementing special projects as directed by the Manager, and engage in ongoing training, coaching, and development of staff, fostering transparent communication.

Inspiring team members with challenging assignments and coaching to promote individual growth and teamwork is vital. Fostering effective relationships with peers, team members, and managers to facilitate communication and collaboration across departments is also required.

Meditating conflict resolution among team members to maintain a harmonious work environment is a key aspect of this role. Overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient processes are in place for space planning, storage, packing, and shipping, while ensuring timely delivery of materials, is also a critical responsibility.

Performing daily reporting tasks, including shipping, reconciliation, KPI tracking, and monitoring incomplete sales orders, is a significant part of this job.

Requirements
  • The candidate must be able to communicate effectively in Chinese.
