Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced VP of Operations and Services to lead our day-to-day company operations and services. This includes strategy, structure, processes, and controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational management, customer service, and technical support.

About the Role

This is a high-level position that requires a deep understanding of business needs and the ability to interpret them into operational practices. You will work closely with your experienced team to ensure that customer expectations are met through strong customer service and technical support for their Clarion capital equipment and purchases.

In addition to leading day-to-day operations, you will also participate as a member of the Executive Leadership team and work with colleagues to set the strategic direction of the company. You will be responsible for ensuring that team and company activities integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies, and general duty of care.

Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day company operations and services, including strategy, structure, processes, and controls
  • Work closely with your experienced team to ensure that customer expectations are met through strong customer service and technical support
  • Participate as a member of the Executive Leadership team and work with colleagues to set the strategic direction of the company
  • Ensure that team and company activities integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies, and general duty of care
  • Grow the Service department contract and billable revenue while managing costs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Finance, or a related field
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in an Operational and Service role, with a minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership role
  • Strong business acumen and an ability to understand and interpret business needs into operational practices
  • Demonstrated financial and non-financial management skills, including management of revenue, full profit and loss statements, and KPIs
  • A high degree of customer service orientation and a proven track record of building long-lasting relationships with customers
