Job Summary:

Dehumidified Air Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an effective accident prevention program and occupational health and safety program at our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recommend measures to protect workers from hazardous work methods, processes, or materials.
  • Investigate accidents to identify causes and prevent future incidents.
  • Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to institute control or remedial measures for hazardous conditions or equipment.
  • Conduct safety training and education programs.
  • Analyze incident data to identify trends in injuries, illnesses, accidents, or other hazards.
  • Investigate health-related complaints and inspect facilities to ensure compliance with public health legislation and regulations.
  • Develop and coordinate training programs to instruct employees in safe work practices.
  • Perform scheduled periodic inspections to identify and correct unsafe conditions and work practices.
  • Communicate and enforce site-specific safety procedures and applicable health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three to six years related experience.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Ability to understand safety requirements and cautions.
  • Ability to perform physical labor necessary.
