Job Title: Advisor, OHS and well-being

Under the supervision of the Occupational Health, Safety and Well-being Manager, the incumbent is responsible for providing expert advice and support to various Montreal Port Authority internal stakeholders on health and safety matters. They will assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating health and safety programs and initiatives to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on health and safety issues
  • Assist in developing and implementing health and safety programs and initiatives
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of health and safety programs and initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate health and safety risks

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. occupational health and safety, public health, etc.)
  • Experience in occupational health and safety or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
