Front Desk Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Manager to join our team at Alpine Motel.
Job SummaryThe Front Desk Manager will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and supervising a team of front desk staff.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, including checking guests in and out, handling room assignments, and maintaining accurate records.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and train front desk staff, provide feedback and coaching, and ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
- Negotiation and Communication: Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities, communicate with staff and management, and maintain effective relationships with guests and colleagues.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months, or equivalent experience.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Word, Central Reservation System (CRS), and MS Excel.
- Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Free Parking: Available on site.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 hours per week.
