About the Role

The Senior AEM Developer will be responsible for the quality, integrity, scalability, resiliency, and overall technical performance of the products and services developed on AEM.

This position involves designing, developing, and managing digital products using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The Senior AEM Developer ensures that the overall technical solution meets business needs and aligns with GoodLife's technology strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops, deploys, and supports software solutions based on Adobe Experience Manager, including sites and assets.
  • Provides technical guidance in AEM projects, ensuring best practices in development and deployment processes.
  • Mentors and supports team members in technical learning, skill enhancements, and knowledge sharing.
  • Improves and optimizes the AEM environment for performance and scalability.
  • Exploring and implementing new features and capabilities within AEM to enhance the digital experience.
  • Integrates AEM with other Adobe Cloud services and third-party applications using APIs and web services.
  • Provides ongoing support for AEM instances, including troubleshooting issues, monitoring, and testing patches/upgrades.
  • Collaborates with Quality Assurance Specialists and Product Owners to test and debug software, diagnose system issues, and create technical documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma.
  • 8 years of development experience working with Adobe Experience Manager 6.x (AEM).
  • Skilled in Java, C#, .NET core, REST, SQL, ReactJS, HTML5, SCSS, and/or ES6 programming languages.
  • Front-end tools (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with Unit and/or Integration Testing (JUnit).
  • Problem-solving, trouble-shooting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong technical skills, including understanding of software development principles.
