We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Saffron Indian Restaurant & Bar. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and managing kitchen operations. They will also be expected to clean kitchen and work areas, and participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be physically demanding. They will also be organized, reliable, and a team player.
We offer a permanent position with 40 hours per week, and the opportunity to work with a diverse team. If you are a motivated and experienced Cook, please apply for this exciting opportunity.
