About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Kyoto Sushi Japanese Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Develop and implement new menu ideas, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.

Chef Management

Lead and motivate our team of chefs, providing guidance and support to ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

Food Safety and Quality Control

Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Inventory Management

Manage our inventory of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Staff Training and Development

Provide training and development opportunities for our kitchen staff, helping them to improve their skills and advance their careers.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience as a head chef or executive chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.

Skills and Qualifications

Proven track record of success in menu planning, chef management, and food safety and quality control.

Personal Qualities

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of chefs.
