Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Director to join our team at HLC TALENT. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Strategic Partner
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives
    • Provide expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters, including labor relations, recruitment, talent development, and employee engagement
  • HR Business Partner
    • Work closely with department heads to understand business needs and develop targeted HR solutions
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
    • Identify and mitigate potential HR-related risks
  • Leadership and Development
    • Lead and manage a team of HR professionals
    • Develop and implement succession planning and leadership development programs
Requirements
  • DEC or BAC in Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in HR and health and safety management, ideally in a unionized manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of labor relations and OHS legislation
  • Dynamic, autonomous, and able to work in a team
  • Resourceful and versatile
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize
