Human Resources Director

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources professional to join our team at HLC TALENT as a Director of Human Resources. This is a full-time position based in Canada.
Key Responsibilities- Human Resources Leadership: Provide strategic guidance and support to the organization on human resources management, including labor relations, recruitment, talent development, performance management, and compliance.
- Process Development: Collaborate with the management team to design and implement human resources and occupational health and safety processes and procedures.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of HR policies and initiatives.
- Training and Development: Plan and monitor training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Occupational Health and Safety: Ensure the implementation, compliance, and application of occupational health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with current regulations.
- Team Supervision: Lead and manage an HR team, including a health and safety coordinator and a human resources coordinator, to ensure effective leadership and collaboration.
- Education: DEC or BAC in human resources or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in human resources and health and safety management, preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment.
