Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Director to join our management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing programs and initiatives in human resources and occupational health and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Human Resources Management
  • Provide expert advice and support in human resources management, including labor relations, recruitment, integration, skills development, performance management, payroll support, hourly compensation administration, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Ensure the application and interpretation of the collective agreement and provide guidance to managers.
Occupational Health and Safety
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of HR policies and initiatives.
  • Ensure the planning and monitoring of training programs.
  • Monitor work accident and occupational illness files and leave diseases.
Leadership and Team Management
  • Supervise an HR team, including a health and safety coordinator and a human resources coordinator, ensuring effective leadership and harmonious collaboration within the department.
Requirements
  1. Education
  • DEC or BAC in human resources or a related field.
Experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in human resources and health and safety management, ideally in a unionized manufacturing environment.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Good knowledge of the legislative context regarding labor relations and OHS.
  • Dynamic, autonomous, and able to work in a team.
  • Resourceful and versatile.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and good listening skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize.
