Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Director to join our team at HLC Talent. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for implementing programs and initiatives in human resources and occupational health and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Human Resources Management
    • Provide expert advice and support in human resources management, including labor relations, recruitment, integration, skills development, performance management, payroll support, and compliance.
    • Ensure the application and interpretation of collective agreements and provide guidance to managers.
  • Occupational Health and Safety
    • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of HR policies and initiatives.
    • Ensure the planning and monitoring of training programs to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Supervise an HR team, including a health and safety coordinator and a human resources coordinator, to ensure effective leadership and collaboration.
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain harmonious working relationships with employees and management.
    • Establish a culture of trust and open communication within the organization.
Requirements
  • DEC or BAC in human resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in human resources and health and safety management, ideally in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Good knowledge of labor relations and occupational health and safety legislation.
  • Dynamic, autonomous, and able to work in a team.
  • Resourceful and versatile.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and possess good listening skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize.
