Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Director to join our team at HLC TALENT. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for implementing programs and initiatives in human resources and occupational health and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Human Resources Management
    • Provide expert advice and support in human resources management, including labor relations, recruitment, integration, skills development, performance management, payroll support, and compliance.
    • Ensure the application and interpretation of collective agreements and provide guidance to managers.
  • Occupational Health and Safety
    • Ensure the implementation, compliance, and application of occupational health and safety policies and procedures, in accordance with current legal regulations.
    • Monitor work accident and occupational illness files and leave diseases.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise an HR team, including a health and safety coordinator and a human resources coordinator, ensuring effective leadership and harmonious collaboration within the department.
  • Strategic Planning and Reporting
    • Participate in the creation and development of human resources and occupational health and safety processes and procedures.
    • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), providing necessary reports to evaluate the effectiveness of HR policies and initiatives.
Requirements
  • DEC or BAC in human resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in human resources and health and safety management, ideally in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Good knowledge of the legislative context regarding labor relations and OHS.
  • Dynamic, autonomous, and able to work in a team.
  • Resourceful and versatile.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and good listening skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize.
