Case Processing Specialist

Kanata Legal Services is seeking a skilled Case Processing Specialist to join our team. As a Case Processing Specialist, you will be responsible for determining the eligibility of individuals applying for benefits, examining documents, and conducting interviews to assess their admissibility to Canada.
Key Responsibilities- Determine Eligibility: Assess the eligibility of individuals applying for benefits, taking into account their education, experience, and other relevant factors.
- Examine Documents: Review and analyze documents to determine the admissibility of individuals seeking entry into Canada.
- Conduct Interviews: Conduct interviews with individuals to gather information and assess their situation.
- Monitor Payments: Monitor payments of benefits throughout the duration of a claim.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare reports and case histories to document the progress of cases.
- Manage Contracts: Manage contracts and ensure compliance with government regulations.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
