Case Processing Administrator

Kanata Legal Services is seeking a skilled Case Processing Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for determining eligibility of persons applying for benefits, examining documents, and conducting interviews to determine admissibility of persons seeking entry into Canada.
Key Responsibilities- Determine Eligibility: Assess the eligibility of individuals applying for benefits, ensuring compliance with government regulations.
- Document Examination: Examine documents and conduct interviews to determine admissibility of persons seeking entry into Canada.
- Interviews and Research: Conduct interviews, research records, and gather information to assess the situation and problems of clients.
- Case Management: Prepare briefs, reports, and case histories, and manage contracts to ensure efficient case processing.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in immigration or administrative law.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
