Crisis Response Specialist

At Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug Dibenjikewin Onaakonikewin, we are seeking a Crisis Response Specialist to join our Emergency Services Unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the dibenjikewin unit stays together as much as possible, minimizing disruptions and promoting a stable environment.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with dibenjikewinan (families) and other stakeholders. They will be knowledgeable about child and family services, with a strong understanding of the complexities surrounding transfers/securing a kanawendaakosowinik (place of care).
This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of awaashish/oshkaadiz (children/youth) and their families. As a Crisis Response Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the holistic approach of the KIDO mission, which aims to revitalize KI values, principles, customs, language, and kayaash egwa miina ahchaako kikinohamaakewinan (traditional and spiritual teachings).
