Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Radiation Technologist to join our team at Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre.

About the Role

This full-time position involves working in Diagnostic Imaging, where you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and producing quality radiographs to aid in diagnosis and management.

Responsibilities
  • Perform medical imaging examinations using available equipment while adhering to policies and best practices in radiology.
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team environment.
  • Schedule includes 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with no call or weekends.
Requirements
  • CURRENT CMRITO registration is required.
  • C.A.M.R.T./O.A.M.R.S. registration is mandatory.
  • Personal Liability Insurance (PLI) is essential.
  • Experience performing Mammograms is necessary.
  • CPR and First Aid certification are desired.
  • Proficiency in general x-ray examinations and assisting/performing gastrointestinal fluoroscopy exams.
  • Ability to perform CT scans or willingness to be trained.
  • Strong computer skills and word processing abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $38.49 to $53.88 per hour, with an estimated annual salary of approximately $78,813 - $111,795 based on 37.5 hours worked per week.
