We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Residential Worker to join our team at Health Association Nova Scotia. As a Community Residential Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with mental health and disability needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support and care to participants in a community residential setting
  • Assist with daily living activities, including household cleaning and meal preparation
  • Document participant information and progress according to charting guidelines
  • Attend community events with participants and provide transportation as needed
  • Collaborate with the program coordinators and staff team to plan and implement participant care plans

Requirements:

  • Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sectors Check required
  • Availability to work a minimum of 6 shifts per month, including weekends and holidays
  • Flexibility to cover summer vacations, holidays, and last-minute shifts
