Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Mental Health and Addictions team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, and support to individuals with mental health and addiction issues.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, with experience working with adults with mental health and addiction needs. You will be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that promote recovery and well-being.
About YouWe are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist who is passionate about working with adults with mental health and addiction needs. You will have:
- A graduate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
- Eligibility for membership in the Canadian Occupational Therapy Association
- Eligibility for registration to practice occupational therapy in Nova Scotia
- At least one year of experience working as an occupational therapist, with a focus on mental health and addiction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in occupational therapy
This is a permanent full-time position, working 75 hours bi-weekly. The hourly rate is $42.89.
