Regional Director Opportunity

Athletes in Action (AIA) is a ministry that empowers people to know Jesus and experience his power to transform the world through sport.

We are seeking a dedicated Regional Director to join our team and contribute to our mission. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with regional staff, coaches, and volunteers to implement Action Camps, Action Clubs, and other community-based sports initiatives.

Your primary focus will be on your region, but you will also collaborate with Regional Directors across Canada to develop and implement national resources and strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the hiring and supervision of staff and volunteer teams in your region
  • Managing the operation of camps, clubs, and sports initiatives in your region
  • Developing relationships with local churches and community sports groups

You will also be responsible for providing oversight to programming in your region, leading and developing your regional staff team, and collaborating with the team of Regional Directors on national topics.

This role requires Ministry Partner Development, where you will have the opportunity to build a partnership team that provides financial and prayer support for the ministry.

The successful candidate will have the privilege of building a partnership team that provides financial and prayer support for the ministry, covering the costs of their salary and ministry expenses.
