Pathways to Independence is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide assisted living support for adults with dual diagnosis, mental health, and behavioral challenges.

As a Support Worker, you will work under the direction of the Client Services Manager to support adults with complex needs, promoting their rights, choices, self-determination, independence, and personal and community living skills.

The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation and a minimum one-year post-secondary certificate in Human or Health Sciences, as well as current First Aid and CPR certification, a valid G class driver's license, and proof of full COVID vaccination.

Key responsibilities include providing effective services and supports to supported persons, managing and maintaining accurate client information and documentation, participating in a positive team environment, and demonstrating a person-centered philosophy and commitment to agency vision, mission, and guiding principles.

Shifts are typically 12 hours long and include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. May work with clients who have aggressive behavior.
