Job Summary:

Troy Life & Fire Safety is seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join our team. As a Fire Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the design and installation of fire protection systems meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and gather information on sprinkler projects, ensuring all relevant details are captured and documented.
  • Verify that fire protection designs comply with applicable codes and standards, including NFPA 13, 14, 20, 25, and 10.
  • Maintain and adhere to service schedules to ensure timely customer billings and payroll.
  • Provide liaison and documentation support to finance for customer billing and payroll purposes.
  • Offer product and service suggestions to customers, promoting additional revenue streams for the company.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring accountability for results.
  • Provide technical support, team development, supervision, and training to direct reports.

Requirements:

  • Community College degree in Fire Protection Engineering or equivalent, or relevant work experience as a Fire Sprinkler Journeyman.
  • Knowledge of NFPA Codes, particularly NFPA 13, 14, 20, 25, and 10.
  • Experience in Sales, Supervision, or Design roles in the Fire Protection Industry is preferred.
  • Project Estimation and Management experience is considered an asset.
  • Management and Supervisory experience is ideal.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills are essential.
