Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Systems Manager to join our team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for testing, inspecting, and servicing fire alarm systems and devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Testing and Inspection: Conduct thorough tests and inspections of fire alarm systems and devices to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Installation Site Visits: Visit installation sites to study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
  • Customer Support: Demonstrate systems to customers and explain details, such as the causes and consequences of false alarms.
  • Circuit Testing and Repair: Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
  • Compliance with Security Standards: Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with local and national security standards.

Requirements

  • CFAA License: Possess a valid CFAA license.
  • Experience with Monitoring Systems: Have prior experience with monitoring systems, emergency lighting systems, and security systems.
  • Siemens and/or Mircom ESD Experience: Preferably have experience with Siemens and/or Mircom ESD systems.
  • Positive Attitude and Strong Work Ethic: Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Customer-Oriented Mentality: Possess a customer-oriented mentality.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to Work at Heights: Be able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet.
  • Flexibility: Be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
  • Travel Requirements: Be prepared for occasional overnight travel.
