Vancouver Coastal Health seeks a skilled Occupational Therapist to join its team at Richmond Foundry in Richmond, BC.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced occupational therapist to provide high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health conditions. The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess and develop treatment plans that promote optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients' occupational performance using evidence-based approaches and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and services
  • Develop and implement outcome-oriented interventions to improve client well-being
  • Contribute to the development and review of occupational therapy services and policies
  • Provide education and training to clients, families, and colleagues on occupational therapy principles and best practices

Requirements:

  • Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC)
  • Eligibility for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT)
  • Three years of experience working with youth and adults in psychiatric settings or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid B.C. Driver's License

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $69,632 - $89,656 CAD, based on a 0.80 FTE and assuming a standard hourly rate of $42.56-$52.95 CAD. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including MSP, extended health, dental, and municipal pension plan.
