We invite you to join our team as a Psychiatrist with the Richmond Adult Mental Health Team, a program that provides longer-term management of serious and persistent mental health conditions requiring an interdisciplinary treatment team.

The majority of referrals come from Family Physicians in the community, the Emergency Department, as well as the In-Patient Unit. You will provide innovative and comprehensive psychiatric assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to support the recovery of individuals living with complex, co-morbid mental health, addiction and physical health issues.

You will participate in the on-call roster and may be involved in the planning, implementation and evaluation of new programs. Additionally, you will participate in the training and education of medical students, residents and other allied health professionals.

To qualify for this role, you must have a current College of Physicians of BC (CPSCBC) License, be eligible for clinical academic position with UBC Department of Psychiatry and hold Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC).
