SimplyCast is seeking a Technical Deployment Specialist to design, deploy, and maintain dedicated environments for various use cases and customers. The primary responsibilities include creating deployment plans, identifying system requirements, and implementing solutions against problem areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify minimum and target system requirements based on availability and capacity requirements.
  • Prepare deployment plans and timelines in coordination with the Project Manager.
  • Create guidelines, analyze existing systems, and implement solutions against problem areas.
  • Maintain active communication lines with the team for a seamless workflow.
  • Install and configure software and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
  • Perform post-deployment front-line troubleshooting of network, hardware, and software issues.
  • Maintain software license agreements and inventory of equipment and components as required for each environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or engineering.
  • General knowledge of the techniques used in systems analysis and design.
  • Strong working knowledge of core technologies Linux (Ubuntu), PHP, MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Apache HTTPD, HAProxy, and one of Amazon AWS, Azure, Alibaba, Google Cloud, IaaS environments.
  • Ability to systematically determine the source of computer problems and take appropriate action.
