Job DescriptionAs a Senior Engineer/Team Lead in our Atlantic Geotechnical Group, you will be responsible for technical work and business development, including proposal writing, technical report preparation, and client relations. Your role will entail serving as a technical resource across project life cycles, providing project development and delivery support, overseeing geotechnical investigations, and reviewing construction materials testing and field monitoring information.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as a technical resource in the Atlantic region geotechnical engineering business.
- Provide project development and delivery support (proposals, project management, client relations, team development).
- Oversee and review geotechnical investigations for buildings, highways, bridges, retaining walls, slope stability, and municipal infrastructure.
- Review and interpret monitoring information from geotechnical instrumentation and testing programs.
- Prepare geotechnical design recommendations and parameters for analyses and design of structure foundations.
About the Role:
- Bachelor's or post-graduate degree in Geotechnical (Civil or Geological) Engineering.
- 15+ years of relevant working experience since graduation.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of Nova Scotia or elsewhere in Canada.
