About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls (EI&C) groups in Fredericton NB or Dartmouth NS. As an Electrical Engineer-In-Training, you will collaborate closely with our engineering and technical design teams, contributing to innovative projects that enhance quality of life globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and coordinate contract drawings, specifications, and sketches from initial design to construction.
  • Collaborate with EI&C group members, other Stantec disciplines, and clients to achieve project success.
  • Contribute to varied project design teams.
  • Conduct field surveys, site reviews, and develop as-recorded drawings.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and project teams.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Working knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
  • Proactive, customer and quality-focused attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to follow Stantec's quality control guidelines.
  • Understanding of the importance of complying with Stantec's Employee Health and Safety (EH&S) program, with a focus on safety in the field.

Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. You will also receive comprehensive benefits, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
