Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Contractor Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business plans, managing assigned key accounts, and maximizing account potential growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute annual sales/business plans for assigned accounts
- Manage all assigned accounts and be the primary contact for all activities
- Identify and target sales opportunities within your assigned geographical area
- Develop and execute proposals to customers and actively seek feedback
- Assume a key position within the bid team in developing strategy and providing quotations
- Follow up on opportunities/quotes/proposals to customers and actively seek feedback
- Submit call reports and update CRM
- Participate in and attend sales meetings, annual planning meetings, etc.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Post-secondary education from a technical program (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical discipline)
- 5+ years of experience in Electrical Sales
- A proven track record of Sales (Electrical Wholesale industry preferred)
- Strategically minded with strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strong technical knowledge and solid understanding of the Industrial/OEM markets
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
