About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Sales Professional to join our team as a Contractor Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with key contractors in the electrical industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a business plan to maximize account potential growth
  • Manage assigned accounts and be the primary contact for all activities
  • Identify and target sales opportunities within your assigned geographical area
  • Develop and execute an annual sales/business plan for your assigned accounts
  • Responsible for managing/closing proposals to the customer and actively seeking feedback
  • Assume a key position within the bid team in developing strategy and providing prompt, clear and concise quotations
  • Follow up on opportunities/quotes/proposals to the customer and actively seek feedback
  • Submit call reports and update CRM
  • Participate in and attend sales meetings, annual planning meetings, etc.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education from a technical program (i.e. Electrical, Mechanical discipline)
  • 5+ years experience in Electrical Sales
  • Must have a proven track record of Sales (Electrical Wholesale industry preferred)
  • Strategically minded with strong presentation, communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong technical knowledge and solid understanding of the Industrial/OEM markets
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
