Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining business plans, managing assigned key accounts, and maximizing account potential growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales in the electrical wholesale industry and possess strong technical knowledge and presentation skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain business plans for assigned key accounts
  • Manage assigned accounts and be the primary contact for all activities
  • Identify and target sales opportunities within the assigned geographical area
  • Work with partners, manufacturers, and Gerrie staff to grow sales and improve market share
  • Develop and execute annual sales/business plans for assigned accounts
  • Manage and close proposals to customers and seek feedback for successful outcomes
  • Assume a key position in the bid team to develop strategy and provide quotations
  • Follow up on opportunities, quotes, and proposals to customers and seek feedback
  • Submit call reports and update CRM
  • Participate in sales meetings and annual planning meetings
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education from a technical program (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical discipline)
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical sales
  • Proven track record of sales in the electrical wholesale industry
  • Strategic thinking, strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong technical knowledge and solid understanding of the Industrial/OEM markets
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
