Job Title: Food Service Supervisor - Lead Kitchen Team
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our kitchen team at Best of Stone Baked Pizzeria Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare and submit reports on food quality, inventory, and staff performance.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Work Environment: Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will be working under pressure to meet high standards of food quality and service. You will be required to stand for long periods, walk, and use manual dexterity to prepare and serve food.
Personal Suitability: We are looking for a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
