Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at NearSource Technologies. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for creating a exceptional working environment for all employees, ensuring that every workspace is clean, organized, and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Space Management: Regularly inspect and maintain all workspaces to ensure they are in top condition, meeting the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to employees, new hires, visitors, and guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order and restock food, snacks, and office supplies as needed, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient workspace.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teams such as AV/IT, Security, and property management to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Track and manage reports, metrics, and documentation on SharePoint, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Process Improvement: Support the team by documenting processes, suggesting improvements, and identifying workflow issues, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Vendor Management: Communicate with vendors to ensure good service and maintain strong relationships, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and reliability.
  • Ticket Management: Use the workplace ticketing system to handle service requests, repairs, and maintenance needs efficiently, closing tickets promptly after completing the work.
  • Problem-Solving: Quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues, coordinating with outside vendors when necessary, ensuring minimal disruption to the workplace.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in workplace management, facilities, or hospitality.
  • Knowledge of building control systems, environmental systems, workplace technology, and audio/visual is a plus.
  • Experience managing vendors and implementing corporate safety programs.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Friendly, energetic, and professional customer service attitude.
  • Flexible, and able to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Organized, able to prioritize tasks, and detail-oriented.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to manage workload independently.
  • Able to collaborate with other departments in the company.
