Clinical Nurse Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a key role in assessing, implementing, and evaluating clinical knowledge to support the translation of knowledge to practice. You will demonstrate competency in practice, program design and implementation, monitoring and evaluation of education, leadership and professional practice.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, a Master's in Nursing/Health/Education/Public Health degree (preferred), and an active practicing license in good standing with Nova Scotia College of Nursing. You will have a minimum of three years full-time clinical nursing experience within the last five years in General Medicine nursing, and relevant CNA/other specialty certification. Recent experience as a Clinical Nurse Educator/Nursing Instructor is preferred.
The Clinical Nurse Educator will be responsible for providing advice, consultation, and support to advance practice, and to maintain and develop evidence-based standards of care, to optimize patient outcomes within the interprofessional care team. The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with the Interprofessional Practice and Learning team to create a culture of learning and practice.

Permanent Full-Time; 75 Hours Bi-Weekly
Compensation and Benefits$49.80 - $59.44 hourly
$97,116 - $115,901 annually
$61.52 hourly ($119,958 annually) with 25 years' nursing experience
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
