Promote business growth and development by fostering strong relationships with local enterprises in the Vernon area. Thrive in a community-driven environment and contribute to the success of Prospera Credit Union.
- Build and maintain a portfolio of high-value micro businesses and their owners.
- Provide integrated financial advice and solutions to meet their business and personal banking needs.
- Negotiate and implement revised or new banking arrangements for customers and/or prospects.
- Review reports for assigned portfolio to identify potential problems and contact customers to resolve issues.
- Assess credit risk, profit contribution, and other considerations to determine whether to retain, expand, or de-market existing relationships.
Requirements
- 3 years of retail lending experience with great people skills and a passion to learn business and/or 2 years' experience in small business management/lending.
- Post-secondary diploma/degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated success with business development and client relationship management.
- Exceptional verbal communication, written, and presentation skills.
